Get a duplicate electricity bill

بجلی کا بل
Every government distribution company's bills are available online.

Last checked November 2026

Most electricity in Pakistan is supplied by government distribution companies (DISCOs) such as IESCO, LESCO, FESCO and MEPCO. Their bills can be viewed and printed online using the 14-digit reference number from any previous bill.

What to bring

  • 14-digit reference number (from an old bill)

Take originals plus photocopies. Offices may ask for extra documents.

Your route

  1. 1

Find the 14-digit reference number on an old bill.

  2. 2

Open the PITC bill portal and choose your company.

  3. 3

View, download or print the bill and pay at a bank or by app.

  4. 4

For billing complaints, contact your DISCO, then NEPRA.

Tips & common mistakes

  • Save your reference number in your phone, because it's all you need.
  • You can pay most bills through banking apps and mobile wallets.
  • For wrong or inflated bills, complain to your DISCO first. If that's not resolved, escalate to NEPRA.
  • Watch for 'bill payment' links in SMS messages. Use the official portal instead.

Frequently asked questions

I lost my bill. How do I pay?+

Download a duplicate from the PITC bill portal with your reference number, or pay in an app using the same number.

Where do I complain about overbilling?+

Start with your distribution company's complaint system. If that doesn't resolve it, NEPRA accepts consumer complaints.

Fees, documents and timelines change, so Raasta deliberately doesn't quote fees. Confirm current requirements on the official website before you apply. Spotted something out of date?
